French charm, soulful pop
Paris-born singer-songwriter and pianist Violette blends soulful jazz and elegant pop, in French and English.
Born in Paris and raised on Île de Ré, an island off France’s Atlantic coast, Violette studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, settled in New York in 2009, and has been forever floating somewhere over the Atlantic ever since. That’s where her songs live too, somewhere between a New York jazz club and a Paris café. Six albums in, the singing pianist and mom of three also leads La Vie En Rose Band & Talent, her band and talent agency, bringing live music to more than 150 events a year.
On stage, she has played from New York (Highline Ballroom, B.B. King’s, Rockwood Music Hall, City Winery) to Paris, Tokyo, Montreal and beyond.
